Rabbit Brush Goods is a woman owned company that is committed to environmentally friendly practices. They model understandable & accessible styling products made in Portland, Oregon.

Rabbit Brush strives to educate their customers on the harmful effects of toxic chemicals in most store bought beauty products. Rabbit Brush also curates a small collection of clean beauty items from women owned businesses including makeup, skincare & perfumes.

The branding

Was meant to echo Rabbit Brush’s dedication to earth and sustainable practice. Organic shapes used within the type face choices help carry the brand personality where type is present. The color choices allow for a line expansion of different earthy fragrances.

Rabbit Brush is also inspired by shag haircuts, which were popular in the 70’s and today. The type and overall warm feeling of the brand was an omage to vintage design and colorways.

Typography system + Label layout

The typography was a large focus within the label design. The system needed to allow for product expansion and visual interest without looking busy or unintentional.

The product line has four products. Each label is recognizable as a family even though they are not exactly the same.
